 Close Abstract

Abstract In her presentation, Sénéchal will present data from her lab to illustrate three issues relevant to early literacy acquisition. First, she will propose that it is important to distinguish language from literacy. Second, she will present longitudinal data showing how different home literacy experiences are related to children¹s language and early literacy. Third, she will discuss the findings of interventions studies examining how parents can help their children learn to read.
