Major Research Activities
Research to date has focused on children with phonological disorders. Phonological development is concerned with knowledge of the sound system of one?s language, both at the perceptual and articulatory levels. My research has been simultaneously targeted at (1) basic research investigating the underlying causes of phonological disorders; and (2) application of basic research findings to the treatment of phonological, early language, and reading disorders, with a particular emphasis on computer applications.
