Hi all,
I thought I would post the comments made by students at the Student Network Dinner. Please feel free to elaborate on these comments and post new ones so we can keep improving!

- share examples and tips of grant recipients
- include CIHR in future funding talks
- create student interest groups for collaboration on papers and reviews
- host a systematic reviews workshop at next annual conference
- workshop on “how to become a researcher”
- message board – make use of it
- informal social for students on first full day of conference
- avoid repetitive messages from HQPC and SNE – clarify lines of communication between HQPC –SNE—SN
- break out sessions for students
o but make these separate from researcher sessions
o don’t force students to skip researcher sessions for student sessions
- “Dialogue” profiles of student work
- yellow nametags – maybe not a good idea?
- Student_network@cllrnet.ca for ANY ideas, questions, concerns – some students haven’t received welcome package – send email to this address!
- use some of the poster time for student activities – too much poster viewing time?
