Biography:

After moving to London to pursue an education in the Law Clerk program at Fanshawe College and then beginning my career in law, I came to the realization that the field was not for me.

From there I switched career areas and started working in an administration position at London Technology Group Inc. where I received training from the Chief Financial Officer. In 1999, I moved to another financial administrative position at EK3 Technologies Inc., where I again trained with the CFO. During my three years with EK3 I was given the opportunity to further enhance my financial skills as well as be exposed to all aspects pertaining to a start-up business.

Currently, I am working on my Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies at UWO and my Chartered General Accounting credits part-time. Outside of work and updating my skills, I enjoy tasting new cuisines, running, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am excited about being part of The Network and being able to apply the skills and knowledge that I have accumulated in my past experience here at The Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network. As finance officer, I will be in charge of budgeting, planning, managing and reporting the financial operation of The Network.
