Student Needed for Network Language Development Project by June 13, 2021
Susan Rvachew, PhD., S-LP(C),Network researcher and member associated with The Network's partnership with the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (CEECD) is trying to fill an immediate need for a student who would be interested in helping in the development of an encyclopaedia regarding early language development with the CEECD. Interested students must be knowledgeable in one or more of the following topic areas:
1) Factors that influence early language development.
2) Impact of early language development on psychosocial development.
3) Impact of early language development on literacy outcomes.
4) Availability and effectiveness of family literacy programs.
The role of the student as a "generator" would be to help the CEECD
staff complete a literature search regarding these topics by suggesting
appropriate search terms. The student would need to coordinate with the CEECD
staff on a frequent basis during the months of June and July 2003. A
small stipend will be paid.

information: (1) briefly describe the extent of your knowledge and
experience with the above mentioned topic areas; (2) if you have
completed a literature review on any of these topics and you feel
comfortable doing this it would be helpful if you would send an
electronic copy of the review to me; (3) indicate whether or not you
are familiar with Pro-Cite; and (4) indicate the topic of your thesis
and the name of your thesis supervisor.
