 WEB APPLICATIONS

When working with web and other on-screen applications, all of the guidelines in this document apply with the followiing caveats.

Always use the hex colour specifications. The logo should be placed in the upper right quadrant of each page. Space around the logo should be maintained on all home or title pages.*

The minimum and preferred size is measured in pixels from the left edge of the bounding box (includes a 3 cap heights space around the logo) to the right edge. The preferred size is 462 pixels wide, but the logo may never be used smaller than 370 pixels wide. Never scale a gif or a tiff. If you require a size other than that supplied, create a new gif using the available eps files or contact .

Contact Jill Wright (519.432.6879, ) for specific brand and identity applications on the web.

 PowerPoint

When creating a PowerPoint presentation for The Canadian Language & Literacy Research Network, use only the downloadable template provided.

To maintain brand consistency, use only the Arial font in PowerPoint presentations.

All presentation title pages should have the "The Canadian Language & Literacy Research Network" Logo and Science Wheel in the top bar.

On secondary pages, the logo is not used, however, the Science Wheel should appear consistently.
Section titles should appear in the upper left area on all secondary pages.

Themes
When presenting information related to one of the five themes, use only the theme-specific slides to display the content. For example, Theme I information should only appear on the Theme I colour-coded slide.

If for any reason multiple slides are needed for a given theme, simply select the desired Theme content slide and under the INSERT menu, click DUPLICATE SLIDE. Using this method will help ensure our graphic standards are met.
