Biography: I am an educational psychologist, with specific research interests in the development of reading ability. My current research concerns 4 factors associated with reading success: phonological awareness, naming speed, orthographic processing, and morphological awareness. My degrees are from McGill (BA in Psychology) and Alberta (PhD in Educational Psychology). I have worked at the University of Newcastle, Australia (1976-87) and Queen's University (1987-present). |
