Biography: My program of research has focused on the relative efficacy of specific training interventions in promoting literacy skill. By understanding the mechanisms involved in successful learning interventions, we gain understanding of the problems that plague children with reading and spelling deficits, and we can better recommend remedial programs that target those deficits. |
The language and culture of my heritage is passed on to me orally. it's a different way off learning than how I am taught at school. How do I keep my traditional culture alive while learning to read and being immersed in the majority culture?
