Seeking advice from national adjudicators for Funding Handbook for Students


					A new initiative undertaken by the HQP Committee is the creation of a Funding Handbook for Students. The handbook will contain relevant, up-to-date information for students seeking external awards, such as advice about selecting the right organizations, what to know before applying, and guidance for writing the application. The handbook will also include how to seek, examine and learn from feedback. This resource will complement The Network's new Scholarship Database.

We are currently seeking to harness the valuable input which could be provided from those who have acted as adjudicators for federal and/or major provincial scholarships or awards. Volunteer participants will be contacted by phone for a short interview (less than one hour) and the questions will be forwarded to the participants in advance of the interviews.

If you are able to participate, please reply to indicating your name, contact information, and the type of scholarship program that you adjudicated such as SSHRC, OGS, or KILLAM, as well as the year you took on that task.
