The Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development recently produced its third issue of The Bulletin in December 2002. We thank Richard E. Tremblay, the Centre's Director, Canada Research Chair in Child Development, University of Montreal, for bringing this source to our attention. He also sits on the Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network's Board Of Directors.

In the spirit of sharing science, we are pleased to provide the link to their research-based newsletter, which can be found at their Web site: http://www.excellence-earlychildhood.ca. The Centre identifies and summarizes the best scientific work on social and emotional development of young children and makes this information available to planners, providers of public and community services, and policy. Stories of interest in this issue related to Network research are Childhood Aggression: Who is at Risk and Why? and Decision-Making Swayed by Words Used. Additionally, on The Centre's Web site, you will find Richard Tremblay's new article on aggression which was published on December 19, 2002.
