Full slate in Toronto

Today we are at the 5th of 8 NSEL public consultations and are in Toronto.  We have a fully packed day with 18 presentations scheduled.  With representation from many stakeholders in the areas of language and literacy including the hearing impaired community, Aboriginal community, public libraries, school boards and more.

We also have, yet again, a very distinguished panel with volumes of experience in areas with diverse backgrounds.  Our panelists are:

Edward M. Roberts, former Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador

Robert Thibault, former Member of Parliament (Minister of State [Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency] and Minister of Fisheries and Oceans), Chief Administrative Officer, Richmond County, Nova Scotia

William B.P. Robson, President and Chief Executive Officer, C.D. Howe Institute

Bruce Ferguson, Director of the Community Health Services Resource Group at The Hospital for Sick Children
