The conference theme was Linking Research, Policy and Practice. 

As in past years, The Network has sponsored two people per research project to attend the conference. Full sponsorship included transportation, accommodation and meals. Additional research team members, students and partners were also encouraged to attend. Please note there was not a registration fee and conference meals were covered by The Network.

Hotel rooms have been reserved for the nights of June 16-19, 2004, at the Hôtel Delta Centre-Ville. 

Each research project was also asked to participate in the Poster Session at the conference. The Poster Session gives each research team the opportunity to present its work to conference delegates.
