You must be registered for the Conference to be eligible for poster presentations.

General Information

Poster presentations will be an integral part of The Network’s 2nd Annual Scientific Conference, taking place at the Victoria Conference Centre and Empress Hotel. Participants have the opportunity to present their work through the use of posters. All Network Project Leaders are encouraged to submit one poster per project. Multiple poster authors are permitted and interdisciplinary teamwork is encouraged. We also strongly encourage the use of Poster Templates available on The Network’s web site (see below for link).

• One Poster PANEL measuring 4' high x 8' wide will be allocated per project.

• Participants choose the SIZE of their posters (3’ x 5’ or 4’ x 6’) although we would encourage you to use posters that are 4’ high x 6’ wide in order to maximize the amount of space allocated.

• Electronic copies of Poster TEMPLATES measuring 4’ high x 6’ wide will be available at:

Each presenter will be asked to provide The Network with an electronic copy of the Poster to allow us to produce a CD of the proceedings. Details on submissions will follow shortly.

All posters will be located in the Palm Court and Crystal Ballroom of the Fairmont Empress Hotel, located at:

• Set-up times for posters will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2021 between 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

• When you arrive on site, please co-ordinate your poster set-up and requirements, and direct all questions to Monique Trottier, Golden Planners Inc., at the registration desk located in the Tea Lobby/Verandah of the Empress Hotel.

• Posters will be available for viewing throughout the duration of the conference. Representatives will be available to speak with you and answer any questions that you may have about their posters during one of the set times below.

• Thursday, June 5

4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

• Friday, June 6

4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• A schedule will be posted at the conference indicating which representative will be available during which session.

• Tear-down for all posters will start at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2003. The conference staff will remove any posters remaining after 4:00 p.m.
